Key challenges
There was significant risk around the scaling and resilience of mission critical public facing e-commerce websites running in DCs. The client had adopted a cloud-first strategy and the project was green field.
Actions
We conducted detailed workshops with various stakeholders and prepared a plan to setup green field AWS infrastructure and migration ready environments. We designed end-end cloud reference and migration architectures and validated with cloud vendors prior to implementation /automation with DevOps and DevSecOps practices. Part of the programme provided end-end cloud-native reference architecture to develop and host the microservices on AWS platform.
Outcome
At project completion we had achieved reduced business risk thanks to the implementation of scalable and resilient foundational and migration architectures.
